What is an MBA ?
A Master’s Degree in Business Administration or a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Management ( Master of Business Administration in English, abbreviated MBA ) is an academic master’s degree (or master’s degree) .In general, the first year of an MBA is aimed at training in the knowledge of the business context and the operational functions of the company . The second year, it is more specialized and seeks to train in economic and administrative matters .There are variations in the format of these programs in terms of their duration, content and teaching method. While the duration can vary from 1 to 3 years, the official university master’s degrees last for two years, while there are different offers of degrees from private academic institutions as well as universities.A Master MBA seeks, in particular, that the student ends up being able to cope with ease and success in a very competitive and changing environment. That knows how to manage a company (totally or partially) knowing how to adapt its strategies to market conditions and competition.
Therefore, an MBA seeks to strengthen knowledge and management skills, know and master management techniques and internal functionality of a company.
For its part, efforts are devoted to knowing in depth the business environment, both at the level of competition and new trends.
A curriculum usually includes, in order to guarantee a solid career path for the student, subjects in the following branches:
- Business strategy
- Marketing
- Human Resources
- Human capital management
- Finance and accounting
- Entrepreneurship
- Etc.
A student of a master MBA will have to face all these issues by attending class or taking the distance course, but in any case doing work and practices both individually and as a group, discovering and analyzing cases of success and business failure and, therefore, , dealing directly with the economic and business reality.
